What if we put the idea of a boycott on ice for the moment, but wrote
letters to T&F saying that the cancellation "gives the appearance of"
bowing to blinkered conservatism out of fear the subject matter would
prove too controversial? That doesn't infer anything about anyone's
motives for cancellation, it only reads the semiotics of the situation.
