[LCC] TAN: Film query

Dear List,

I wonder if you can help with a rather nebulous query. 
Someone is trying to track down a film, from rather 
thin identifying features.  All they can recall is that 
(1) it was dated before 2007, and possibly some years 
before that;  (2) it was set in a sea-side town;  and 
(3) the plot concerned two gay men, one closeted, one 
having difficulties in a relationship.  I think we are 
talking an Anglophone production here, but from which 
country is not known.

Any suggestions appreciated.
